THOR Hardware

Consistent capture starts with equipment built around the data requirement.

Robotics data depends on the cameras, sensors, controls and end-effectors used to record it. THOR Hardware will work on capture kits and interfaces that make recordings from different suppliers easier to compare and reuse.

Why it cannot be left to the incumbents
  • ~$39BOn ~150 unitsClosed platform, closed supply chain
  • ClosedIndustrialA humanoid platform nobody outside can build on
  • Tesla
In-houseOptimusBuilt for its own factories, sold to nobody

If one company makes the hardware, the whole stack runs on its roadmap, its price list and its willingness to sell.

Customer demand shows which data is hard to collect and which equipment would expand the supply of compatible physical experience.
